Just a little background about The Tuckers. Ed retired from the military after a 40 year career. He enlisted in the Army and went to Vietnam. He was there from 1968 to 1969. After his stint in the regular Army he joined the Oklahoma Army National Guard and retired from there in 2008. He held many jobs in those years and his final rank was that of Colonel. LeeAnna worked for Oklahoma City Public Schools for 22 years as a School Psychologist and retired in 2010. We are very fortunate to have had such long careers without changing employers in all those years.
We meet in 1996 and were married in less than three months. I think it was just meant to be because the day after we met we both knew we would never be apart again. Oh don't get me wrong, there are times we don't agree on something but that is still pretty rare.
Between us we have four grown children and six grandchildren. All but one of the kids live here in Oklahoma. Of course there always has to be one...right?
Ed's passion is fishing and in particular cat fishing. That is the one thing he is looking forward to doing while we travel. My pastime is playing on the computer and reading. I like mystery/thrillers. I also like to collect recipes, but I am not so crazy about cooking any longer. We both really like trying out new restaurants and that is another thing I hope to share with any reader of this blog.
